Application process and deadlines
Cambridge application deadlines are very different from other UK universities. However, you will still need to apply through the UCAS portal. Below is a simple step by step guide for you:
Choose a course
Make sure you choose a relevant course that really interests you. Also, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the university for your chosen course.
Decide on a College
Choose a college based on your personal choice. On your UCAS application, you can apply directly to one of Cambridge’s 29 colleges, or simply submit an open application.
Submit your application and SAQ
Once you have submitted your UCAS application, you will need to complete an additional form, the Supplementary Application Questionnaire (SAQ). The SAQ must collect information that is not included in the UCAS application. You will be sent a link to the SAQ via email.
Written assessment
Most students are required to take a written entrance exam. This can be done both before the interview and during the interview. Some students may also be asked to provide examples of their written work.
Interview
Only those students who have a chance of securing a place are invited for an interview.
